From the start of the 1950's to the end of the 1970's saw a time in the development of the Siamese breed when great strides were made in refining the look of the show Siamese. It was a time when legends were made and breeding dynasties were established.

Breed history was made in 1970 when GC, BW, NW Karnak Zapata was named Best Cat in Championship in CFA. Six years later, GC, BW, NW Thaibok Teriyaki was Best Cat for 1975-76. To date, no Siamese has repeated these wins.
